The Winter Wirral Ultra is suitable for both road and trail runners, and the long cutoff means it’s also suitable for walkers. There is a lot of hard surfaces so it’s not suitable for those who are only comfortable on softer terrain.
THE CIRCULAR ROUTE STARTS AND ENDS at Hooton Memorial Hall at the end of THE WIRRAL WAY. THE route follows the wirral circular trail in an anticlockwise direction, and takes in the beauty of the wirral PENINSULA coast before following the wirral way for the last 12 miles
