17 Apr
18:00
Join our Collections Manager Josh for a deep-dive into Evelyn De Morgan’s Medea.
As well as being one of the most popular pieces in our collection, Medea is a perfect example of many of the key principles of Pre-Raphaelite art, and Josh will reveal exactly how in this 45-minute talk. He will discuss Evelyn De Morgan’s work and place within the movement, closely explore the artistic style and technique of the work, and consider what about the story of Medea made the myth an appealing subject.
