Löwenzahnhonig are a Swiss instrumental band working at the intersection of psychedelic pop, mellow funk, indie rock and ambient music. Their sound is built around melodic, reverb-washed guitars, warm basslines and restrained, groove-led drums, creating music that is relaxed, spacious and rhythmically focused. Comparisons are often drawn to artists such as Khruangbin, Tortoise and Yo La Tengo.
Future Yard are excited to welcome Löwenzahnhonig, who are just ooff the back of their second album, Kirschblütenboogie (literally: Cherry Blossom Boogie) released in September 2025. Kirschblütenboogie was written and recorded during an extended summer retreat away from traditional studio settings. The album reflects that process, favouring slow-burn arrangements, repetition and subtle development over high-energy hooks.
Formed in Switzerland, Löwenzahnhonig emerged from a series of informal jam sessions and have since built a reputation for live performances that allow songs to stretch and evolve.
