Following their fabulous full band show last year, we’re delighted to welcome back Tennessee Waltz and friends to Thornton Hough Village Club on Friday 21 August.
Formed in 2016, Tennessee Waltz are singer songwriters Jimmy Rae and Sarah-Lou Fletcher, whose trademark vocal harmonies, stirring ballads and infectious country toe-tappers have won them a loyal following across the North West.
Once again they’ll be joined on stage by a 5-piece band, comprising Tom Hutchinson on keyboards, Nick Silver on fiddle, Lenny Whitehead on Guitar, Andy Prince on bass and Gaf Makin on drums.
Together they’ll be performing songs from the duo’s most recent album ‘A Different Road’ including ‘Under the Mersey Moon’, Jimmy’s plaintive love song to Liverpool, and now the title of an inspiring new hit musical. Also on the menu will be souped up arrangements of songs from Jimmy’s 40 year back catalogue, interspersed as ever with a few vintage country classics.
